God calls each of us to be missionaries - first at home, then in our own community, then to the rest of the world. While being a missionary at home and in our own community is relatively easy, having an impact on the rest of the world requires some effort. We believe that anyone who is able should make an effort to go on at least one short-term international mission trip at some point in their life. In our experience, God changes the lives of those who answer the call to go - for instance, after sitting down to a meal with a group of kids in an orphanage, you cannot come home and look at a plate of food the same way again. We encourage you to pray about going on a trip. We also understand that not everyone is able to do this, and that God has a time and a place for everything and this may not be the right time for you to go. However, we can ALL support those who are actively serving in missions.

First, find out what your church is doing to sponsor missions activities, and how you can become involved. If you want an additional opportunity to support missionary endeavors, then we ask that you prayerfully consider our Adopt-a-Missionary program.

So what does this involve?
